Owner Matt Weiss worked with 2SCALE to “re-imagine” an existing Capitol Hill Bar into a New, Casual, Neighborhood Bar & Restaurant Concept specializing in Bourbon and Southern Cuisine. BARREL has two levels, the first features a long concrete and reclaimed wood bar, exposed brick walls, customized bourbon barrel display, and custom banquette dining. The lower level features the “Elixir Bar” featuring a glass cellar display and communal tables. 2SCALE also provided branding, graphic design logo and signage design services for this project.
