2Scale worked with the team at Fire Works Pizzeria on their third location in the Cascades Overlook Development - Sterling, VA.

A renovation of a space that once housed a different pizza concept, Fire Works wanted to open up the previously enclosed Bar Area to provide an open, more upscale, yet still comfortable, ambiance.

The introduction of a more sophisticated finish palette was another main design goal. This new palette consists of carmel wood tones, warm red accents, textured geometric wood panels, and sand-colored, ledger stone feature walls. In addition, the use of 'flame' shaped ceiling baffles throughout the main dining space, provide a dramatic aesthetic consistent with the Fire Works Brand. This flame ceiling concept also adds strong acoustical properties throughout the restaurant to help dampen the ambient noise.
